Bit of a later start to the day, with no real plans in place. We have a combined washer / dryer - so after we put a load through, Ian tried to get the dryer to operate, only to have the wash cycle commence again - it is now very late in the day and he has had to call reception for help on how to get it to work after numerous unsuccessful attempts (very bright engineer!)

Today I am the photographer, gave Ian a rest from lugging his camera around. Strolled to the shopping centre around the corner to purchase some umbrella’s (looks like it might be wet in Krakow, Poland and purchased Matt and Braden some football socks (only gifts they wanted) - come in handy for hockey training socks.

Headed to Ian’s now local coffee shop (great coffee and a surprise the hot chocolate is also good), sat inside to enjoy. Took off from there and just wondered the streets for a few hours, Ian even left the map in the apartment (Mr Organised letting loose :) ). Went touring around the museums but ddin’t actually do a tour - I like historic museums but not art ones. Ian stopped for a beer on a cute boat on ‘Main’ river (it was after noon) - so relaxing & peaceful until I accidentally shook the table and when going to grab his beer, knocked it over and smashed it!! Needless to say, I wasn’t very popular with Ian and probably the staff, although they seemed fine with it. Had lunch back in ‘Old Town’ and headed back to our apartment for a quiet late arvo / evening. Ian is cooking bratwurst sausages for dinner.

Heading to Krakow, Poland tomorrow on a noon flight.
